Hardcore. The word we all root for. Work for. Stand for. But if you're in a serious problem what are you most
likely to do? Will you choose to face it alone and prove to the whole wide
world that you're really strong? But what if you can face that
problem with someone by your side? Someone with that vibe. Someone you cares for you no matter what. Someone who always has that
beautiful smile for you. Someone who will tirelessly walk a mile just to see that you're
alright.. Someone who will purely love you even when you can't love yourself and
understand you when you can't understand yourself. Isn't that someone just the
person you need in your life? So ask yourself. How many such someones have you
met in your life?
Right
now while reading this most people would have just one person in their head but trust
me there are many more.
Ever
heard those wedding vows? “From this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part.”
If you pay close attention then you’ll realize that some people have served these vows without you even asking for it. And those some people? Our parents. Our best friends. Our siblings. And even those people relations with whom have no name. These are the someones in your life apart from of course the love of your life. So what I’m asking you to do is simple. Thank them for being that ‘someone’.
And freely accept that when your heart will decide to rest it would
be somewhere around the warmth of their hearts.
Return to my nest
As the sun sets
As the sun sets
And another day comes to an end,
I see the birds returning to their nest
As soon as the darkness begins to cover the rest.
But then I think why would they do that?
Why not face the darkness
Rather than running to the nest?
Coward birds,aren't they?
Can't even face the night alone....
But then I realized the unexplained truth
That we humans bear the same booth,
When the gloom becomes prevalent
And staying in the darkness tends to our doom,
When the depression strikes up
And the loneliness strikes you out,
Do we not choose
To return to the nest,
To return to the nest,
Where we feel the warmth
And can let go of the rest...?
So are we cowards?
Or in a constant search of warmth?
Are we homesick?
Or just want to find places where everything just clicks?
Is it necessary to be strong
And face the darkness alone?
Rather setting your ego aside
And sharing your troubles with someone worth it all?
